Fathers New Mexico is seeking: An energetic part-time  manager to oversee peer navigation work in Santa Fe. 

JOB SUMMARY: 

Fathers New Mexico’s young parent peer navigators are dedicated community members who serve young parents by assisting them to connect to services and supports that they need. The peer navigation lead will learn the criteria of the young parent peer navigation program and support the peer navigators as they engage young parents in Santa Fe. The peer navigation lead will listen to and develop a plan for ensuring that each peer navigator is successful. This position includes data collection and management. The peer navigation lead is responsible to work with individuals and families and do so from a place of humility. Professional development for self and peer navigators will be a priority. This position manages outreach and relationship building between FNM and other entities. All FNM staff represent Fathers New Mexico in community, with collaborative partners, funders, participants, political entities, and other non-profits. This person will also be asked to support organizational development and promotional activities. 

Requirements: 

Must have a driver’s license and a legal, operational vehicle that complies with all relevant NM laws. 

Able to pass a criminal background check. 

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Professional with an appropriate combination of education and experience.

FathersNM is hiring a facilitator for our FUTURE MEN PROJECT

Fathers New Mexico is seeking: An energetic and devoted Facilitator for our FUTURE MEN PROJECT

JOB SUMMARY:

Facilitators for the Fathers New Mexico FUTURE MEN PROJECT (FMP), a small groups for middle school aged boys delivered through the school year, are compassionate, provide support for individual participants and deliver meaningful content regarding: planning for the future, considering gender norms, healthy relationships, healthy choices, and more. They listen to each participant, research and provide support to address participants needs, and develop a healthy and inclusive environment for group discussions. Facilitators are responsible to work with individuals and groups from a place of humility. Facilitators engage professional development and operationalize the mission of Fathers New Mexico and its work. Facilitators represent Fathers New Mexico to all its constituencies including; collaborative partners, funding sources, participants, community members, and other related not-for-profits.

In addition to one-on-one support of FMP participants, content delivery and small group management, this position will coordinate relationships with participating schools and institutions. This person will also be asked to support organizational development and promotional activities.

Requirements:

Any bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with an appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.
